🇵🇸 Bethlehem part 1:
The Wall and Aida refugee camp.
In 1948, after the creation of the State of Israel, some Palestinians were forced to move away from their homes and placed in refugee camps, separating the country into 2 different entities. Since then, about 70 years ago, the occupation of Palestine has never been resolved in a final peace agreement.
It was actually built a huge wall, that separate the 2 populations and every year moves forward, taking pieces of land from Palestine, till nothing will be left.
In my opinion, they should stop fighting and find a solution that makes both happy.
Even though this situation is quite complicated, visiting Palestine (West Bank) is super safe for tourists and cheaper than Israel. Just avoid the public demonstrations that could happen every now and then.
Since I arrived here, I felt all the time very welcome by everyone, making my travelling experience great 💕😁👍🏻 "Live high, like this, my flag"
