Ok here we go, I am finally getting around to editing some of the flip pics to share before & afters! The after pictures didn't turn out as well as I would like, because of the lack of natural light in the kitchen it is hard to capture true colors & lighting, but here's what we got. The cabinet color doesn't totally come across here, but is a creamy light green with grey undertones. Sometimes it pulls grey, sometimes it looks green, and my sister even thought it was blue! (Swipe 》 to see the swatch). It pulls differently depending on the lighting, but I really love it. I wanted to stay away from gray and go towards a slight green so I'm pleased when people see something other than gray :). So for this side of the kitchen, as you can see there used to be a window in the corner leading into the garage. Awful! We covered it with cabinets from the laundry area! That worked out so well that we were able to use those & save a chunk of change by just painting all the existing cabinets. We took out the cabinet above the sink and added a shelf and took the tile all the way up the wall and I LOVE how it turned out! We kept the existing stove because it was actually a really nice GE slate stainless steel & in good condition, and we matched the new dishwasher to it. We put in a low profile microwave above the stove, added crown molding to fill in the gap above the cabinets, new flooring, recessed lighting & went with our go-to quartz countertops. The backsplash is a really pretty 3x12 subway tile with a rustic wavy imperfect surface, and we did a creamy taupe grout. We replaced the sink with a Kohler stainless steel one that we found on Facebook Marketplace for $60 (retails for over $600!) and added a matte black faucet. We did all matte black hardware throughout the house (doorknobs, hinges, light fixtures, plumbing fixtures etc) and man, it's so sleek and cool! I'm loving the matte black! So there we have it! Let me know what you think!
