This hand is of incredible importance. This specific positioning of the hand is therapeutic, believe it or not. This gesture is what I find myself doing (most of the time followed by a series of expletives) when I’m on the road and headed anywhere in the greater Phoenix area due to:
Smoking in your car with the windows up.
Throwing cigarettes out on the street.
Getting caught texting when the light turns green.
Braking too soon or too late.
No thank you when you let them through.
No turn signals.
Driving 10mph under the limit on the left lane.
Disrupting traffic because you forgot to merge two lights ago and your turn is coming up.
Slowing down traffic making a left turn when you have an unoccupied center lane made specifically for that shit.
I could go on, but what I’m trying to say is, this hand saves me a minute or two of road rage, which in turn prevents me from driving aggressively, which ultimately lowers the chances of accidents happening to/around me. So stop the road rage, do this hand gesture instead, be a bit more positive when you drive, it might save someone’s life😇🚗
