I got to see the barn door today... which leads from the master bedroom to the closet and bath. It was so pretty, even just that raw alder sitting there, waiting to be stained. So, I picked out the stain and left with my van full of sick kids. It was the one thing I needed to do today. On our way home, I started to see the final product of our home in my heart. It was so lovely that I started to tear up. 😭 .
I told Tony, “I’m so excited about the barn door that I have tears in my eyes. Is that weird?” 😍 He looked at me with a pre-teen look that says: ‘I don’t quite get you’ and said, “Yeah, mom. That’s weird.” 😅 But when you’ve waited and prayed about the next thing God wants to do, and you see it taking full shape above and beyond what you could’ve imagined... it’s ok to get a little teary. 😌❤️ .
This verse keeps coming to my heart lately and I think it’s kinda cool that it has my towns in it (FARgo and MOORhead):
“God is able to do FAR MORE than we could ever ask for or imagine. He does everything by his power that is working in us.” ~ Ephesians 3:20
