My new favorite way to cook oats: add extra protein👏🏻 I’ve been consciously trying to incorporate more protein into my meals & this is a sneaky way of doing it. The texture is absolutely incredible-the fluffiest and creamiest🥣 Sweet n salty, creamy n crunchy..it hit the spot after a solid 6am workout🏋🏼♀️ Also why has it taken me this long to add yogurt on top of my oats???😮 .
I boiled 1 cup of water in a pot on the stove, added 1/2 cup oats, 1/4 cup grated carrot, 1 tsp chia seeds, a dash of cinnamon, and 2 egg whites. The key to not have scrambled eggs in your oats is to CONSTANTLY whisk your oats once you add the egg whites. Keep stirring until your desired consistency and until the egg whites are fully cooked. I topped mine with @oikosprotein vanilla yogurt, crunchy pb, frozen berries, sautéed banana, and @goodmixfoods fruit and nut mix😊
