Happy Friday! 🚀 🔥
It has been a very busy week. Our project is almost ready to delivery the MVP, so super exciting times 💯
I’ve been involved a bit on the interviewing process here at Mindera, and I want to share with you some quick tips for your interviews:
Be yourself. Don’t try to pretend to be another person. Just be yourself, don’t be afraid to speak your mind, laugh if you have to, just treat it as a normal conversation.
Be honest. If you don’t know the answer, don’t try to pretend that you know and start to talk non-sense. That’s the worst thing you can do… If you are not sure about your answer, just say it anyway and try to explain in your words what you understand of it.
If you have some cool projects, don't be afraid to speak about them and to bring them up. Sometimes the interviewer might not be aware of those, so just bring that up and talk about them. Don't be afraid to show off here.
Research the people who are interviewing you on LinkedIn. By doing this you can engage in the conversation and connect with them, because you will know what they do and their projects.
Normally at the end of every interview, you’ll have some time to ask questions. You should definitely ask questions here. Research the company prior to your interview and just ask questions. Be curious, ask how the company works, how they approach projects, etc… This will show that you have interest in working for the company and that you’re not just taking on dozens of interviews just to get a job.
I hope this is helpful! Have a nice weekend! 🤗✌🏼
