I hated my dimple, and no, I don't even have one on my face(SWIPE👉)
I'm talking about the big, profound dimple on the back of my leg. For years, I loathed it. It was the eye of the tiger with my tiger stripes surrounding it🐯. I've always had lines/cellulite/ripples/cottage cheese/ whatever other term you can think of. They were never that noticeable to others but to me, it was the source of insecurity. One little dimple caused hours of scrutiny. I told myself it was because I stopped exercising and was eating too much ice creams. Cause--effect. How unfair of me to do that to myself?! .
Over the past half year, I've learned to accept its presence(laughing as I type this!) and other parts of my body. I workout atleast 5-6 times a week, I've never eaten better, and I have started to love my body in ways I never have before.
I used to think healthy was...
-being a size 2 jeans
-weighing 125 lbs
-having smooth skin without any ripples
-having long, lush hair.
Holy moly! My thoughts have transformed!🤯
I am a size 4.
I weigh 140 lbs.
My skin is the clearest it has ever been.
My hair is not fried or frizzy and has great shine!💁♀️
There will always be a part of your body you may not be in love with. However, instead of hating your body, I hope you come to learn to love all that it does for you. We all have imperfections. Don't let one bump (pun intended) get in the way!
