How well do you know yourself? One of my mentors recently told me: “most people go to the grave without knowing themselves.” It’s so true, and pretty fucking scary.
This came up in conversation about my digging deeeeep into myself to resolve some limiting beliefs that have been holding me back in my relationships and business.
I’m not going to lie, this type of inner work can be really painful and challenging sometimes. It requires you to look at your past emotional patterns, people you may have hurt, and behaviors that you’re not proud of.
You’re going to see things you don’t like or want to reject. That’s why most people don’t bother 😬.
But it’s so, so important to learn how to look at all parts of you with love and acceptance and release what doesn’t serve you.
We all have our old emotional wounds, past traumas, insecurities, etc that sabotage us and cause us to suffer.
The only way to live a more fulfilling life is to observe these old habits and fears with acceptance and release them. It may not happen all at once, but you can chip away at it bit by bit. And if you’re doing that every day, your life WILL improve.
If you don’t... then it will have consequences on the quality of your life and happiness (and eventually, even your health).
Instead of blaming the outside world or feeling self-pity when shit doesn’t go your way, look in the mirror and ask yourself: “where is my responsibility in this reality? What needs to change in order to shift this?”
Get to know your inner story, and be flexible enough to evolve it as you do.
When you do this, you have the power to design your life magnificently. I truly believe that and have witnessed it repeatedly in my own life and the clients I’ve worked with.
Your health, prosperity, well-being... it all starts with the story INSIDE OF YOUR HEAD!!! That’s what you need to take care of first.
Who you really are is beautiful and the world deserves to see it. YOU deserve to live that way. So get to know yourself and the magic will follow! 😘
